I had first purchased from Leonidas as a last minute Valentine's Day present for my boyfriend. They were a bit on the pricey side, but I figured I would give them a chance because of the rave reviews. As chocolate lovers know, dark chocolate is the only substance worthy of the name. This is premium-grade stuff, ranking with Godiva and other small purveyors. I'm salivating, just writing this note. And, I will be ordering more of the same from this supplier.

When we lived in France, Leonidas had many locations in our city. Their products (although no doubt produced on industrial scale) were always excellent, capable of competition with the local artisan chocolate stores. Oh, the local artisan chocolate stores! OK, can't be found here, so we buy Leonidas and we are very happy with this. Nothing we have found in the US compares.
